1. Who we are
SUNBVE is a children's cotton socks brand owned and operated by Shantou Jinxu Shiye Co., Ltd. This privacy policy describes how we collect and use information on sunbve.com (the "Site"). Our products are sold through Amazon US and Amazon Canada; purchase transactions and customer account data for those orders are governed by Amazon's own privacy policy, not this one. 2. Information we collect
We collect two categories of information:
- Information you provide directly — when you email us at anthony@sunbve.com or subscribe to our RSS feed, we receive your email address and any message content you choose to send.
- Information collected automatically — when you visit the Site, our hosting provider Cloudflare Pages logs standard technical data including IP address, browser type, referring page, and pages viewed. This data is used for security, abuse prevention, and anonymous traffic analysis. We do not operate Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any advertising trackers on sunbve.com.
3. How we use information
We use the information described above to respond to customer inquiries, fulfill requests you initiate, secure the Site against abuse, and understand in aggregate how visitors find and move through our content. We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with advertisers. We do not use your information to build cross-site behavioral profiles.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
sunbve.com does not set marketing or analytics cookies. Cloudflare may set security cookies required to detect and mitigate abuse, such as the cf_clearance cookie after a challenge is completed. These cookies are strictly necessary for the Site to function and are not used for tracking across sites.
5. Third-party links
The Site contains links to Amazon product pages, YouTube videos, and occasional external sources cited in our /news/ articles. When you click those links, the receiving site's own privacy policy applies. We encourage you to read Amazon's, YouTube's, and each publisher's policies before interacting with their services.
6. Your rights
If you are a resident of California (CCPA / CPRA), Canada (PIPEDA), the European Economic Area (GDPR), or the United Kingdom, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email anthony@sunbve.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" and describe the action you want us to take. We will respond within 45 days or the period required by the applicable law, whichever is shorter.
California residents additionally have the right to know what categories of personal information have been collected and the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. As noted above, we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
7. Children's privacy
Although SUNBVE sells products intended for children, the Site is directed at parents and adult caregivers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in the United States, or under 16 in jurisdictions that set a higher age under local law. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact anthony@sunbve.com and we will delete the information.
8. Data retention and security
Email messages sent to anthony@sunbve.com are retained as long as necessary to provide customer service and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Server access logs held by Cloudflare are retained for the period set by Cloudflare's own logging policy, typically short-lived. We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold, but no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest revision. Material changes will be announced on the /news/ section of the Site.
