In plain English
SUNBVE is a brand, not a third-party review site. The Amazon links on sunbve.com point to our own products on Amazon US and Amazon Canada. When you buy through those links, Amazon pays us the normal product margin, the same as any Amazon seller earns on a sale. We do not participate in the Amazon Associates affiliate program for our own listings, and we do not receive separate affiliate commissions from competitor brands.
Why we label product links "sponsored"
Every internal product link on the Site, including links inside /news/ editorial content, carries the HTML attribute rel="sponsored". This is the standard signal recommended by Google for commercial relationships and by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission for material connections. We use it to make the commercial nature of those links clear to both readers and search engines, even when the link is inside an article that otherwise cites neutral sources.
Editorial independence
Our /news/ articles report on research, regulatory action, and retail trends drawn from external sources. We select topics based on their relevance to parents and kids' foot health, not based on which products we want to sell that week. When a product link appears in a "Related SUNBVE Socks" block at the bottom of an article, it means the product genuinely matches the article's subject (for example, seamless-toe construction in an article about sensory sensitivity). We do not alter the editorial content of an article to favor a specific product. Claims made in the body of each article are sourced to cited publications, not to our own marketing copy.
Product claims
Performance claims about SUNBVE socks, including seamless-toe construction, combed-cotton content, reinforced Y-shaped heels, pack counts, and size ranges, are described in each Amazon product page and are subject to the product warranties and return policies set by Amazon. Medical or sensory-related language in our articles is drawn from third-party sources (including the American Academy of Pediatrics, CDC, and peer-reviewed studies) and is not intended as medical advice or a health claim about our products.
FTC compliance statement
This disclosure is provided in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR Part 255, "Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising," which requires clear and conspicuous disclosure of material connections between endorsers and advertisers. The operator of sunbve.com and the seller of SUNBVE products on Amazon are the same company (Shantou Jinxu Shiye Co., Ltd). That relationship is material, and this page exists so that it is obvious.
